THE WHOOHA STORY

Whooha started in the deserts of Las Vegas when two women, Amy and Julie, met while doing what they love, mountain biking.  They soon became fast friends and through encouragement and coaxing (or should we say peer pressure) began pursuing many other activities like running, road biking, triathlons etc.

The two women took on a fundraising project for their women's cycling team and created a women's cut cycling t-shirt. The shirt was a great success!  Women were excited to finally have a flattering t-shirt that inspired them to take part in the sport that they love.  The two enjoyed creating the shirt so much that they joked about going into business together.

Time went on and through careers and families the business never came into fruition.  However, after Amy gave birth to her first two children, she began exploring ways to work from home....the business looked to be the answer but it still did not become a reality.  Then Julie's life was turned upside down with the untimely death of her husband.  They realized that maybe this was the time to start the business. Not only would it give Julie something positive to focus on, they could both do something involving the activities that they truly love.

So they took a deep breath and decided it was time to
Play hard….Take Chances…..and Keep Smilin!

And that is how Whooha began!!!!

OUR MISSION STATEMENT

As fellow athletes, we have always been frustrated with the influx of MEN's t-shirts and athletic wear that flood our industry!  That being said........we decided to tackle it head on!  We strive to create comfortable, fun and stylish apparel for the athletic woman........
that fit THE ATHLETIC WOMAN and that are FUN TO WEAR. 

We look forward to continue broadening the Whooha line to fit the needs of those women who are out there doing what they LOVE to do!!!
